Finding Glee at 3:33! The Magic of Micropoetry

Workshop facilitated by Leonard Quilty, six-time author and motivational speaker

American poet laureate, Joy Harjo, once said, “without poetry, we lose our way.”

This workshop will provide participants with a way to not only derive more pleasure from reading poetry, but will also give them more confidence in their ability to write poetry for meaning and impact.

The workshop will cover key poetic terminology related to imagery and rhythm and how writers can use these poetic devices in their writing. Best of all, participants will have an opportunity to write their own micro poem, in a timed format - based on a writing prompt.
