Library Moving Information

The Okotoks Public Library will be moving into it’s new space in the Arts & Learning Campus during the month of August.

Access & Service Details:

Facility:

The last day the library will be open to the public is Saturday, July 31. The bookdrop will remain open to accept library items until Thursday, August 5 at 8:00pm. After this date, patrons must hold on to their library items until we open in the new building. No items will be due during this closure and no overdue fines will be incurred.

The library is scheduled to re-open in it’s new space on Monday, August 30, 2021!

There may be limited public seating leading up to July 31, 2021 as we prepare for our move.

Borrowing & Returns:

We will continue to offer curbside pickup August 3 to 5, 2021. Please call 403-938-2220 to arrange a curbside pickup.

Patrons can use their Okotoks Library card at the High River Library in High River, AB and Sheep River Library located in Turner Valley, AB.

Holds:

Any requested items not picked up before August 5 will be held until September 4, 2021.

Memberships:

Library memberships that are due to expire during our closure will be extended until September 5, 2021.

Library staff will be unable to process new and renewal library memberships starting Friday, August 6, 2021.

Book Sale Items

Book sale items will not be available after July 21, 2021. The Friends of the Library will be organizing a book sale in September. More information to come.
