Funny 5 Panel Comic Contest

Ages 6-12

Complete your very own hilarious 5 panel comic for this contest.  Templates may be picked up and entered in person at the Okotoks Public Library, or downloaded from the PDF and submitted through email to jblumer@okotokslibrary.ca  Please note, your submissions may be on display at the library for the duration of the contest however the artists names will be hidden.  

A few little rules.  

1.  Contestants must use the 5 panel template provided.

2. Submissions may be hand drawn or computer generated, however all characters and dialog must be original.  No copywritten characters will be considered.  

3. Artists must use all 5 and only the 5 panels plus the thought and speech bubble provided.  

4. Extra thought and speech bubbles, sound effects etc... may be added at the artists discretion.  

5. Emphasis will be placed on creativity and humor, rather than art perfection.  The funniest comic will win.

6. The winner will be decided on patron and OPL staff voting, with the winner receiving a gift basket.

7. All art work must be submitted with a name and age of the artist and will not be returned.

8. Entry period is October 25, 2021 - November 13, 2021 & voting will take place November 15, 2021 - November 20,2021.  The winner will be announced and contacted November 25, 2021.
