Okotoks Public Library (OPL) has been a proud and integral part of our community since 1977. The town of Okotoks has grown substantially since then and we welcome the growth but need to keep up the pace. Just to illustrate how important we are to the community, between March 16th when the library closed due to Covid-19 and July 20th when we reopened, 29,015 items were borrowed through our Curbside HOLDS program!
We invite you to continue to “come grow with us” now that we have moved into our new expansion as part of the Okotoks Arts & Learning Campus. We continue to raise funds for furniture, fixtures and equipment.
We invite businesses, vendors and community members to donate funds to help us fill the library. Donations can be sent via cheque or e-transfer (to firstname.lastname@example.org) . Any donations over $20.00 will automatically receive a tax receipt. Depending on the level of donation or sponsorship you will be acknowledged with a thank-you on social media, a plaque in the new library, a giant cheque with a photo in the Western Wheel or a library program room or area named in your honour. Thank you for your ongoing support. To donate contact Sarah Gillie, Acting Library Manager at 403-938-2220 (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm) or email email@example.com. Let’s build our community together!
